Lauren Jauregui is a Cuban-American singer and a quarter of the multiplatinum-selling band group, Fifth harmony. Lauren entered the music industry at age 16 as a contestant on the second season of the American version of X Factor in 2012.

She is known for being politically outspoken and actively involved in protests. The singer has written several open letters criticizing Donald Trump and his policies. She wrote an open letter to Donald Trump and his supporters which letter was published by Billboard on 18th November 2016, stating that she is a bisexual Cuban-American Woman and she is so proud of it.
